Football 17-0

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Football 17-0 is a single-player football simulation game. This policy explains what happens to information when you play.

The short version: there are no accounts, and we collect nothing about you ourselves. Your play history never leaves your device. The app is free and supported by advertising, and our advertising partner does receive information from your device — section 3 lists exactly what.

1. There is no account

Football 17-0 has no sign-up, no login, no username and no leaderboard. We never ask for your name, your email address or a password, and we run no server that holds a profile for you. Nothing you do in the game is associated with your identity by us.

2. What stays on your device

The following is stored only on your device, inside the app's own private storage, and is deleted when you delete the app:

We cannot see any of this. It is never uploaded and never shared. It also means that if you delete the app or lose your device, your history is gone — there is no copy for us to restore.

We run no analytics of our own. We do not know how many seasons you have played or whether you have ever gone 17–0.

3. Advertising

The app is free and is paid for by ads, served by Google AdMob. There are three placements:

WhereWhat
Results screenA banner below the season summary.
Leaving the results screenA full-screen ad, once per completed season.
RespinsAn optional video ad you choose to watch in exchange for a respin. Limited to three per run.

The video ad only ever plays because you asked for it. You never have to watch one, and the game is completable without ever doing so.

What Google receives

To select, deliver and measure those ads, Google collects the following from your device. This list comes from Google's own published disclosure for the Mobile Ads SDK.

DataDetail
Device advertising identifierThe IDFA on iOS, the Advertising ID on Android. A resettable identifier Apple and Google provide specifically for advertising.
Approximate locationEstimated from your IP address, at roughly city or region level. The app never asks for location permission and never uses GPS.
Advertising dataWhich ads were shown to you, and whether you viewed or tapped them.
App interaction dataApp launches, taps and similar interactions, used to measure ad performance.
Device and app informationDevice model, operating system version, and the fact that the ad appeared inside Football 17-0.
DiagnosticsCrash logs and performance data such as launch time, hang rate and energy use, used by Google to diagnose problems with its own SDK.

Google acts as an independent controller of this information, not merely as our processor. We never receive it. We cannot see your advertising identifier, your IP address, or anything else about you — we only see aggregate counts of ads served and revenue earned.

We do not sell your personal information ourselves. Depending on where you live, sharing data with an advertising partner for personalised ads may still count as a "sale" or "share" under laws such as the CCPA — the controls in section 4 are how you opt out.

4. Your choices about ads

On iOS. The first time you open the app, iOS asks whether you will allow it to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Decline and your advertising identifier is not shared; you see non-personalised ads instead. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and switch it off for every app in the same place.

On Android. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation in Settings → Google → Ads.

In the EU, UK and Switzerland. Before any ad loads, a consent form asks what Google may use. You can decline and still play the entire game. To change your answer later, open Settings → Ad privacy choices inside the app. That entry appears only where the consent form applies, which is why you may not see it.

Everywhere. Ads cannot be removed by payment — there is no in-app purchase and no subscription in Football 17-0.

Turning off personalisation does not remove ads or reduce how many you see. It changes how they are chosen.

5. What we never collect

We do not operate our own analytics or crash reporting. The diagnostics listed in section 3 are collected by Google for its own SDK, and we never see them.

6. Deleting your data

Because there is no account, there is nothing on our side to delete.

For a question or request about your data, write to rishthewizard@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. For information Google holds, use Google's own controls linked in section 3 — we have no access to it.

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or object to the use of your personal information. We hold none, so the steps above satisfy most of them; email us for anything they do not cover.

7. Children

Football 17-0 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The app contains advertising, and we do not knowingly serve personalised advertising to children. If you believe a child has been served personalised ads through the app, contact rishthewizard@gmail.com.

8. Football data in the app

Player names, rosters and statistics come from public historical sources — nflverse (licensed CC BY 4.0) and Wikidata (CC0). This is public data about professional football and has nothing to do with you. No statistic in the app is invented.

Football 17-0 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League or any of its clubs. No club logos or official branding are used. Team and player names appear only to describe real historical facts.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change what the app collects, or change advertising partners, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
