Spin
One real team, one real decade. The draw sticks: you play the hand you are dealt.
Choose
You decide which position that team fills, from the ones it genuinely had players at. The same draw can be a gift at one spot and useless at another.
Pick
Choose a player who genuinely played for that team in that era. Their statistics are from that era, not their career best.
Build
Six positions laid out on the ice: three forwards, two defencemen and a goaltender. One team fills one position, so a finished lineup spans six franchises.
Simulate
A full 84-game season, played out game by game, with overtime when it is tied. Going 84–0 is rare, and that is the point.

Head to head
Two people, one phone. You each build a six-player lineup from anyone in history, then the two teams play a single game at a neutral rink. Settle it.

Take whoever you want from any team in any decade, then play a full 84-game season with them and see what the lineup is really worth.
None of it counts
Sandbox games pay no coins, unlock no themes and never touch your history. A lineup of six legends going 84–0 would not prove much.
Real data, not invented numbers

Eight decades of real franchises, in the eras they actually existed: the Nordiques, the Whalers, the North Stars, the Atlanta Flames.
Every season is measured
Every player card shows that player's real season line for the era he was dealt from. A few categories were not recorded in the earliest decades, and the card shows only what was.
Judged in context
Every statistic is compared with the players of that exact era, so a 1950s season and a 2020s season are judged on equal terms.
